Peugeot 306 / Citroen Xsara Our Peugeot 306 and Xsara packages are based on the popular Gti6 / VTS XU10J4RS engine, although other engines such as the 'S16' are priced on application. Stage 1 Stage 1 tuning involves the fitment of an entry level pair of camshafts, retaining a good idle, without the need for a remap. These can be supplied and fitted during the course of a working day for £745.00 inclusive of vat.
Stage 2 Carefully developed using well proven components including Cat Cams / a Pug1off ECU remap / a Pug1off 4-2-1 performance manifold and a Pug1off gasflowed throttle body, this package has been independently dyno tested at 195bhp and 155 lb.ft of torque. Offering large amounts of additional power allied to strong mid-range torque and excellent driveability, the Pug1off Stage Two tuning package represents a lower priced alternative to throttle body conversions and is lighter on insurance premiums too. The Pug1off 306 GTi-6 / Rallye / Xsara VTS Stage 2 upgrade package is priced at £1940.00 fitted in our workshops including VAT. As a lower cost option but with nearly the same performance the above package is also offered without the Pug1off 4-2-1 exhaust manifold with an RRP £1340.00 fitted including VAT. Stage 3 Stage 3 represents the limit of naturally aspirated tuning when retaining the standard pistons, featuring 45mm Jenvey throttle bodies, Emerald K6 management, a pair of ultimate road camshafts, 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and an optional ported, flowed and rebuilt cylinder head.
