Whenever i try to install the drivers i get an error saying its being used by another process. [IMG][IMG][IMG]Device manager says 'The drivers for this device are not installed [Code 28]' Earlier today i tried one of the devices and the USB installer said it was installed correctly, but then when i went into device manager it said the same error [Code 28]. Download the latest drivers for your Enfora Lp USB devices to keep your Computer up-to-date. Also, I noticed that when the files failed to install, they created a folder in the local user with what seems like randomly generated characters and inside each folder is a Security Catalog file(?) with names relevant to the devices that I'm trying to install.

I guess my last suggestion didn't work too. Those were the last I can think of. Now the system cannot find the file specified. Maybe it's referring to the INFCACHE.1 file. The INFCACHE.1 fix and SFC scan should have fix that. Make sure that usb support is enabled in the bios. The devices were listed under Other devices because they don't have drivers installed.
Usually the fix there is to delete the devices under it and scan for hardware changes. You can try that.
Try running the Fixit on the following link. It's for XP but it should work for Vista because they have simillar Device Manager. I saw this posted on Windows 7 forums. How to troubleshoot unknown devices that are listed in Device Manager in Windows XP You can try to follow the methods listed on the article.
I envy only bullfinch. 
You can also try updating your chipset. Windows update can do that, I see yours turned off. Post navigation.
